What's new for Santa Barbara Weddings

Flora Boutique has been quite busy the last few weeks with summer weddings. We have been having a great time doing what we love doing best. We are now getting ready for fall and winter weddings as well as winter parties. Reds, oranges and browns are always in style for fall weddings. It will also be in style to use purples, browns and accents of apple green for the stylish and modern brides. Purple lisianthus are a great flower to use for that look, and the good news is that they are not costly flowers.

We'd like to congratulate the brides we had the pleasure to help with their flowers in the past couple of weeks; Alexandra, with a lily and rose bouquet, celebrated her wedding at the Stella Mare's Event Center also decorated with lilies. That's what I call, simple, and elegant. A great place for quality versus quantity. Sarah, our bridal bouquet winner from the SB bridal show, had a white elegant bouquet that included roses, calla lilies and hydrangea. Katie had a ceremony at the beach under a Chuppah that we provided, lightly decorated with pink flowers. A nice complement to her bridesmaids that were wearing tiffany blue color dresses. Katie carried a bouquet that included stephanotis, calla lilies, roses and gardenias. Katie and her party then went on to celebrate at the Fess Parker Double Tree. Jayne, also celebrated her wedding at the Fess Parker Double Tree Resort. She had an intimate reception where Flora Boutique had the pleasure to decorate with lilies and one of my favorite pieces, a fun Martini piece for the bar. Jennifer, held her wedding at the Plaza at the Double Tree as well. We provided an arch decorated with red flowers. Jennifer used mostly reds for her wedding and reception. She held a stunning bouquet including black bacara roses and classy red roses. She had red petals for the side of the aisle that just made her shine as she walked down the aisle. Last weekend we had the pleasure to be a part of Nicole and Bryan's wedding. They had one of the most beautiful views in town. We set up a Chuppah for their ceremony at the top of the SBCC hill looking out to the mountains, the ocean and the harbor. Great job choosing such a beautiful spot Nicole and Bryan! Nicole held a cascading orchid bouquet with stephanotis. They used black bacaras and burgundy calla lilies to decorate their chuppah. They celebrated their wedding at the Santa Barbara Cabrillo Arts Center, another great spot for a great view.

Congratulations to Alexandra, Sarah, Katie, Jayne, Jennifer and Nicole. You all made beautiful brides and congratulations to all the lucky guys!!
